Concession Assist is free for Health Care Card, Concession Card and Pension Card holders living in Moreland.
It will help make your home more comfortable and lower your energy bills by providing:
- The right energy efficiency advice for your home
- Free products to make your home more energy and water efficient – installed at no charge.
- Ongoing support through the Zero Carbon Moreland community program

Products that may be installed as part of your Home Energy Check include:
- Draught excluders around doors and windows
- Window shades
- Water saving showerheads
- Energy-saving light bulbs
- Insulation for your hot water pipe
- Easy to reach switches to reduce stand-by power usage
Your qualified Home Energy Adviser will discuss with you the specific products to be installed during your Home Energy Check.
A separate appointment may be required to install window shades.

Zero Carbon Moreland's Concession Assist is a free service from Moreland Energy Foundation and Brotherhood Green. Moreland Energy Foundation Limited is a not-for-profit organisation working in Moreland for over 10 years to improve energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Brotherhood Green is a social enterprise of the Brotherhood of St Laurence and Sustainability Victoria.
Over 3000 residents are already participating, and by taking part in Concession Assist you’re also included in Zero Carbon Moreland.
